Half of all drinkers are interested in moderating their alcohol consumption

Drinks insights company IWSR will be dropping their annual consumer insights survey later this month, and they've let slip a few very interesting early details that are worth a look - particularly around alcohol consumption.

It turns out that half of adult drinkers across 17 markets globally have indicated that they are 'more interested in moderating my alcohol consumption generally', with younger consumers more likely to be moderating than older consumers.

Also, early indications are that 'the premiumisation trend in beverage alcohol has not been extinguished by economic headwinds', which means you can expect 2023 to be packed with premium new-release products too.
