That’s why we’re thrilled to bring you our first-ever round-up of 'Sales Legends of Kaddy', highlighting a handful of the many faces that make up the Kaddy community.

Jane from Two Bays

How did you get started with Two Bays?

I was working in hospitality as the general manager of a restaurant and was looking for a career change after being in the industry for 12 years… but still wanted to keep one foot in the door, as I love it. I came across the job with Two Bays, whilst literally drinking one of their beers – so it was definitely fate!

My favourite product to plug on the road is...

I love to let people know we have awesome seasonals, but from our core range, the XPA is my favourite! It is packed full of flavour, but it’s not as hoppy as our IPA – just a great middle-ground between the Pale and IPA. Perfect for a bar that only wants one SKU.

What do you love about the industry the most?

I love that no day is the same. I also get to drive around the most incredible country whilst selling beer… what on earth is there not to love?! I’m very lucky.

On a Friday night, you can most likely find me...

Either at a Kaddy event in Surry Hills (woohoo) or making candles for my little side business

I am non-stop on the roads in Sydney, then in the Central Coast and the Blue Mountains once a month and Newcastle every 2 months. I'm only a call or email away if you ever need to ask any questions or if you'd like me to drop in some tasty samples!

Alex from Single Vineyard Sellers

What do you love about the industry the most?

I have been managing restaurants for over a decade in different countries and would not change a single decision I have made. Hospitality is running through my blood but as everyone knows who has been doing front of housework you can't do it forever. The transition into a sales role is just logical and a very common one in our industry.

My favourite product to plug on the road is...

How did you get started with Mobius?

My old housemate was friends with Alex who was one of the owners, and I was a wine rep at the time. I remember trying the Moreau Apple Pie Liqueur and thinking it was fantastic. They needed a sales rep and I was looking to expand my knowledge in the spirits industry. The rest is history!

My favourite product to plug on the road is...

I always love people’s faces when they take a sip of our Moreau Apple Pie Liqueur. They are always blown away about how good it is, how easy it is to drink and how much it tastes like a freshly baked Apple Pie.

On a Friday night, you can most likely find me...

Doing Muay Thai followed by way too many beers at the local!

The first thing I’m going to do out of lockdown is...

Go out salsa dancing!

Why did you get started with Colonial Brewing?

Colonial's reputation for a high-quality, consistent, and diverse core range of beers always drew me to the brand.

What do you love about the industry the most?

I love seeing the passion driving so many entrepreneurs. Whether bar owners, retailers, or producers, I'm lucky to work with so many people that take great pride in what they do and want to share it with the world.

Something no one would know about Colonial is...

Our Bertie cold-pressed cider is named for our brewery's home on Bertie Street in Port Melbourne - the very same building that once produced that staple of show bags across Australia, the Bertie Beetle chocolate treat.

My favourite product to plug on the road is...

The Kolsch is my favourite. Clean European-style lagers are under-appreciated in an industry infatuated with the latest and greatest.

On a Friday night, I’m most likely hitting the road for a trail run out in the Bluies or bouldering in Marrickville with dinner and a couple of beers afterwards.

I lovvvve the Amanda Mandarin IPA and the Fat Nerd Vanilla Porter .. Mum’s Mango Pale Ale is also epic whenever she’s around!
